Dr. Kristine Vichinsky, PsyD, LP
Dr. Kristine Vichinsky earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wayne State University, where she first set her sights on becoming a psychologist. She went on to earn a master’s degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, with a specialization in child and adolescent psychology. Dr. Vichinsky earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. Throughout her graduate training experiences, Dr. Vichinsky developed a keen interest in neuropsychological assessment, particularly for adults, children, and adolescents. This passion led her to pursue specialized formal training in this field, equipping her with the expertise to conduct comprehensive evaluations.
Dr. Vichinsky is dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based interventions for individuals across the lifespan. Her practice encompasses a wide range of specialties, including expert testimony (mental health court), expert medical opinion services, independent medical evaluations, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, and clinical supervision. Areas of clinical specialty include psychological and neuropsychological testing, including evaluation and diagnosis of brain injury, dementia, intellectual limitations, autism spectrum disorders, disorders of learning, and attention deficit conditions. Dr. Vichinsky also specializes in evaluating and diagnosing ASD, utilizing a compassionate approach that considers the unique strengths and challenges of each individual. Dr. Vichinsky is driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others. She approaches each client with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity, striving to create a safe and supportive environment for assessment and treatment.
